What You Can Do in the Document Detail

- Use the Manage document menu to upload a new revision, download the original document, open document settings, or delete the document
- View target languages and track the translation progress for each one
- Assign or invite translators to specific languages
- Upload a new version of the source file to update the content
- Download files – including exchange files (XLIFF, Excel), translated content, or final documents
- Pre-translate the document using Translation Memory and AI Translation
- Access the Web Editor for each language to view or complete translations
Manage Document Menu
In the top right corner of the Document Detail page, you'll find the Manage document button. This menu allows you to:
- Upload a new revision of the source file
- Download the original document
- Access the document’s settings
- Delete the document
Using the Three-Dot Menu
Next to each language, you’ll find a three-dot icon that gives you quick access to:
- Change the assigned translator
- Export phrases for offline translation (XLIFF, Excel, or OpenOffice)
- Import completed translations back into Redokun
- Delete a language from the document if needed
These shortcuts allow you to manage translations efficiently without leaving the main view.
📊 Understanding the Translation Progress Bar
Each language has a progress bar that visually shows how much of the translation is complete. The bar fills up as segments are translated:
- Grey: Confirmed segments
- Orange: Segments still in draft
- Green: Untranslated segments
If a translator hasn’t accepted the job yet, you’ll see a warning icon next to the language and its progress bar. This lets you know the translation hasn’t started.
These indicators help you quickly spot what’s done, what’s pending, and what needs attention.
