Using Filters and Saved Views in Your Document List

Filters help you quickly find the documents you need by narrowing down the list based on specific criteria. This is especially useful when managing a large number of projects or working in a team.

How to Use Filters

  1. Click on the Filters button at the top of your Document List.

Use the dropdowns to filter documents by:

    • Uploader: See only documents uploaded by a specific team member.
    • Translator: Find documents assigned to a particular translator.
    • Target Language: Show only documents that include certain target languages.
    • Status: Filter based on the translation status (e.g., confirmed, in progress).
  2. As you apply filters, the list below updates in real time to show only the documents that match your criteria.

You can clear any filter using the Clear filter button in each dropdown, or click Clear filters at the top to remove all filters at once.

Save Your Filters as a View, and Use Views (Only for Managers)

Availability: Saved views may not be available on all plans. To check if your plan includes this feature, visit the pricing page.

If you frequently use the same set of filters, you can save them as a custom view:

  1. Apply one or more filters using the dropdowns.
  2. Click the "Save view" button that appears next to the Filters button.
  3. Enter a name for your view and confirm to save it.
  4. (Optional) You can also choose to save the view with all rows expanded.

Once saved, your view appears in the View dropdown. You can return to it anytime with a single click, without needing to reapply the filters manually.

Only team managers can save and use saved views. Translators will not see or access this feature.

Saved views are shared across your entire team. Any team member can access and use them.

Saved views are great for:

  • Project managers tracking specific team members or language pairs
  • Translators wanting to see only their assigned documents
  • Quickly accessing ongoing or urgent projects

Note: If the "Save view" button is disabled, make sure you have at least one active filter applied.

Managing Saved Views

You can manage your saved views by clicking the "Manage views" button in the View dropdown. From there, you can:

  • Rename a view
  • Delete a view
  • Set a default view by clicking the star icon (see below).

Set and Remove a Default View

You can set a default view by clicking the star icon next to a saved view in the "Manage views" panel. The selected view will be automatically applied every time you open the Document List.

To return to the normal (unfiltered) view, simply remove the star from the currently selected default view. This clears the default and reverts to the standard document list.
