Activating Spell-Check

In this user guide, you will learn how to activate the spell-check feature in Google Chrome.

Redokun utilizes the browser's integrated spell-check, which helps ensure that your text is free of spelling errors when working in Redokun.

We recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience when working in Redokun, as Chrome offers optimal compatibility with our platform and ensures a seamless user experience.

Activating Spell-Check in Google Chrome

  1. Open the Chrome browser and click on the three dots icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. From the dropdown menu, select Settings.
  3. Click on Advanced and then Languages.
  4. To the right of Spell check, turn it on or off.

With the spell-check feature turned on, you can choose between "Basic" and "Enhanced" spell check:

  • Basic spell check: Chrome or your operating system provides the spell check. It doesn’t send the text you enter in your browser to Google.
  • Enhanced spell check: This spell check is used in Google Search. It sends the text you enter in your browser to Google for improved spelling suggestions. In some operating systems, you can update custom words in the spell check dictionary.
